Take Your group to the Good Friday Service this week at the Church of the Nazarene at 7pm or if you meet together, discuss the following:
1) 1-10: If the rich unpopular Zacchaeus can get saved, can you? Will you use your wealth to separate you from people and Jesus or bring you closer?
2) 11-27: When there is a transition of power, do laws still need to be obeyed and your business still need to be engaged? What are you doing with what you have been given?
3) 28-40: Did the people praise for who Jesus was or what He did?
4) 41-44: What is significant about “this day?” If those from the east could foretell Christ’s birth how did they miss the prophecy of Daniel 9:25?
5) 45-48: How does a house of worship and prayer end up looking like a place of business or fund raising? Do you tolerate Jesus words or “hang on his every word?”
