Walk with God or “sons of God?”

 ~ Gen 5 & 6

  1. What does it mean to walk with God… for 300 years (Gen. 5:22, 6:9)?  Are you?  Do you know someone who is?
  2. Even as wickedness increases (6:5, 11) is it possible to walk with God?  Shouldn’t it be more obvious?
  3. Would you rather live the longest like Methuselah or walk with God fewer years and be taken like his dad Enoch?
  4. Discuss Gen. 6:1-6 and Job 1:6. Who are the “sons of God” and the “Nephilim?”  Do they exist today?  (Jude 6-8)
  5. How did Moses (Joshua 13:12), David (1 Sam. 17:45-46) and Benaiah (2 Sam 23:20-21) slay their giants/Nephilim?
  6. Discuss the struggle described in Genesis 3:15 that unfolds in preceding generations.
