Sunday, April 22, 2018 – 1 Kings

  1. 1 Samuel 8:11-18 warns the people what to expect. How did Solomon fulfill this  (1 Kings 12:4)?
  2. Do David and God care as much about what you do or how you walk (1 Kings 2:3-4)? What is the first hint of trouble?
  3. Does God care more about wisdom (1 Kings 3:12) or how you walk (3:14)?
  4. Does God care more about what you are building or your obedience (1 Kings 6:12)?
  5. What lives in the temple, God or His name? What’s the difference (1 Kings 8:16)?
  6. Is God’s promise to David and his descendants conditional or unconditional (1 Kings 8:25)?
  7. When the Lord appeared was He more interested in “all he had desired to do” (1 Kings 9:1) or in his walk (9:4)?
  8. Is the Lord only interested in David’s descendants’ walk or others’ walk (1 Kings 11:38)?
  9. Why was the kingdom torn from the wisest king to ever live? Where are the kids from all those wives?
