  1. The Anointer: vs 6-13. When have you done a ‘beautiful thing’ for Jesus like ‘the woman,’ or at least hosted a dinner for Jesus like Simon the leper?
  2. The Betrayer: vs 14-16, 47-50. When have you ever profited off of Jesus or used Him for your own agenda, or just sold out on your faith?
  3. The Fighter: vs 50-56. When have you ever fought for Jesus, defending Him when He doesn’t need it? What does Jesus say about the fighter in v. 52?
  4. The Accuser: vs 57-67. When have you ever accused Jesus for the purposes of dismissing Him and doing what you want?
  5. The Denier: vs 31-35, 69-75. When have you had the best of intentions but when things went south you just deny your association with Jesus whether by word or deed?
  6. The Messiah: all the red letters. How does Jesus respond to each (and the Father in vs 39 & 42)? How can you apply Jesus’ example to not be distracted by less important things and stay fully obedient to the Father despite what you want?
  7. Do you really value time around the table with Jesus and each other, or are you often too busy or distracted?
