Sunday, May 7, 2017 ~ Matthew 18
- What did Jesus mean, and what didn’t he mean, to “become like little children?”
- Why does Jesus give such a stern warning about leading the childlike astray? Who are the childlike?
- What are we to do with those things that lead us astray (cause us to sin)?
- How does Jesus want us to:
….Be humble like a child (v. 4)
….Protect the childlike (v. 5)
….Remove obstacles for children (vs. 6-9)
….Agree with angels and the Father for our children (v. 10)
….Find the wandering child (vs. 12-14)
….Reconcile sibling fights (vs. 15-17)
….Have a family meeting (vs. 19-20)
….Forgive like a child (v. 18, vs 21-35)
- Why does Jesus use children (siblings) to explain the greatest and forgiveness?
