Stay or Go?

~ Genesis 10

1. Do you suppose you are a Japhetite, Semite, Hamite or Canaanite?
2. If God says fill the earth, (go) in 9:1&7, 12:1 tells Abram to leave home and go, explain Nimrod’s total rebellion to God to stay and gather up the people and make a name for themselves apart from God in 10:10 and 11:4.
3. If 11:9 dispersed them with languages, how does Pentecost reverse this in Acts 2; seeing the gospel dispersed over the face of the earth, in every language?
4. What is the significance of man trying to reach up (11:4) and God comes down (5)?
5. What is the difference between unity in Christ and unity in Babel?
6. How do chapters 10 & 11 fit together?
7. How difficult has it been for you to “go” when God says go and “stay” when God says stay and not the opposite?
