1) What happened to Joash and why according to 2 Chronicles 24:20,24 & 25?
2) Why couldn’t paid Israeli troops march with them according to 25:7?
3) “Why”, is the question asked in 25:15. What was the result 25:20 & 27? Do we do similar things today (though wrong, 28:23 makes a little more sense).
4) 26:5 seems to be true of all the kings. Does this play out in your life? Why or why not?
5) 26:16 seems to be a common theme too. Do you see this today?
6) Although king Jotham did good (27:6), the people did not follow his lead (27:2). Which is more important for a country: to have leaders that follow the Lord or the people?
7) King Ahaz was the most egregious yet (28:3). What was the result?
8) So compared to all the other kings of Israel, how is Jesus a different kind of king (John 12:13)? (even what they “ride” Zechariah 9:9-10).
