1) How has this last word of Peter differ from the first words of Peter we see in the Gospels?
2) How does your faith match up with Peter’s according to verse 1?
3) According to verse 2, what do we expect with increased knowledge of God?
4) Verse 3 says that knowledge is power (knowledge of Jesus grants God’s power). What else do we need? What are we called to?
5) What is the promise in verse 4 and how does it lead to our escape?
6) Peter’s maturing process starts with “faith” (verse 5) and ends with “love” (verse 7). Are you increasing in these (verse 8)? Where are you seeing the most progress? Where do you need more progress?
7) What happens if we obtain these things (verse 10)?
8) If these last words of Peter are a reminder (verse 14), how important are they and why might we forget them?
