1. What benefits and responsibilities come with being a child?  A child of the King?  A child of God?
2. How are we both God’s Child (3:1) and John’s “little children” (3:7)?
3. Knowing Jesus’ post-resurrection appearances in the gospels, how do you imagine and hope we will be like (3:2-3)?
4. How do you do 3:3?
5. Are you planning and practicing righteousness and purity and abiding in him as well as loving your brother, or lawlessness, sin?  You can’t be in the light and walk in darkness at the same time.
