Abram Called On The Name Of The Lord

 ~ Gen 12-13

1. 1. Describe Abram’s call in 12:1-3:

   ~Where did he go from and to?

   ~Who was he to go away from?

   ~How is this greatness different from the greatness aspired to in 11:4?

   ~Has God fulfilled his promise to Abram?

   2. Did Abram fully obey God?  How long did it take?
   3. Whose land was it (v.6)?  Why did God give a Semite the land of a Canaanite (v.7)?
   4. The Lord talks to Abram (v.1) and Abram calls on the name of the Lord (12:8 & 13:4)?  How are both important?
   5. How is “going toward the Negeb” (v. 9) different than “going down to Egypt” (v. 10)?
   6. How did the Lord protect the righteous, submissive Sarai from these men?
