The Cost of the Cross

Sunday, January 14, 2018 ~ Luke 9:23-26

  1. Has following Christ ever cost you something? If so, what?
  2. In our society of plenty, what might denying one’s self look like?
  3. Is your faith in the cross merely a matter of spiritual comfort? If so, do you think it’s time to get out of your comfort zone? Do you think Jesus was comfortable when He was taking up that cross for you? (John 15:18-19)
  4. What does it mean to believe? It’s been said that true belief is an action. Now if we truly believe that Christ died for us and we have even a small under standing of what that cost him should it not bring us to our feet as well as to our knees? Do your actions in all areas and situations of your life reflect your belief?
