1) What is most notable to you in the book of Numbers; God’s speaking, hearing or smelling?

2) How was the grumbling supposed to end according to 17:10? How did the people respond?

3) If the tabernacle is in the middle of the camp, why is it not good now to go near it (18:22)? What changed?

4) According to 18:26-29, Where does the tithe go? Who gives it? Who gets it? What should it be?

5) What is the point of the red heifer in chapter 19? How are we ultimately made clean in Hebrew 9:13 & 14?  Have you ever “majored on a minor,” like searching for the ashes of the red heifer?

6) Why did they grumble at least one more time in chapter 20?  Why was it significant that it was at the time of the loss of Miriam and Aaron?

7) How did Moses not “honor God as holy” in 20:12? What were the consequences?
