Great Commission Cambodia-style

July 30, 2017 ~ Matthew 28:18-20

1. How has God been speaking to you this week?
2. Which of Ken and Michelle’s stories of God’s work in Cambodia most touched your heart?
3. Ken said he learned that “missionaries are just ordinary people following Jesus.” What do you think about that? Can you think of yourself as a missionary?
4. Read Matthew 28:16-20. These verses are known as “The Great Commission”. How do you feel when you read these verses? Do you believe this command is applicable to all Jesus followers? What might you need to ask God for if He is going to help you join in this mission?
5. Read 1 John 1:9 together. Take a minute to quietly (or loudly!) confess any sins that you need to and then imagine looking on the cross at Jesus who paid for those sins in full! Then say together as a group: “My sins are forgiven and my heart has been cleansed!” Who might you share that good news with this week?
