The Battle is the Lord’s (but ours is the training!)

Sunday, Feb. 4, 2018 ~ Psalm 144:1

1) Review 1 Samuel 17, the story of David and Goliath, and Psalm 144.  Discuss your first reactions.

2) Why was David so confident when everyone else was intimidated?

3) Why is training so important if God gives the victory?

4) What battles have you been trained for and how might God want to use you?

5) With all of our training and with the armor of God in place, what is our part and what is God’s?

6) Right now, do you feel like you are winning or losing the battle?
